LMS质量空气流量传感器是专门为测量与车辆排放和发动机控制相关的空气量而开发的。根据热膜风速计的测量原理，空气质量流量传感器由成对布置的温度传感器和加热元件组成。这种布置允许双向测量，这使得可检测到回流和脉动。现代半导体热膜技术可确保快速响应时间以及在整个生命周期中进行可靠，稳定的测量。特殊应用的质量空气流量传感器的校准还保证了高精度，完全符合各自系统的特性曲线。其紧凑的设计（带有法兰安装件）不仅可以轻松集成到流道（管道）中，而且还保证了在各种系统中的灵活安装。LMS还可以可选地配备一个温度传感器，用于介质温度的附加测量。
